Happy At Home Cat Sitting

Enjoy the peace of mind that only comes from entrusting your pets and home to a mature professional.

I am a retired English teacher with a life-long love of animals and over 30 years’ experience caring for domestic pets. In addition, I am a grief counselor, feline behavior coach, energy healer and “cat whisperer,” so you are getting so much more than just a pet nanny!

Pets should always be cared for in their own home where they feel safe and secure. Dogs are pack animals and very social. When left alone for too long they can suffer separation anxiety and stress, which can lead to unpleasant behaviors. For these reasons, I recommend overnight stays–for your peace of mind and theirs.

My services include feeding, refresh water bowls, undivided companionship and attention, walks/exercise, administering meds, waste cleanup, pick up mail and water household and outside plants. Also daily text or email updates.

Unlike many pet sitters, I do not “double-book” except under very rare circumstances. Whether you hire me for the day or the entire 24 hours, I provide your pets with my undivided care and attention. I treat your pets as if they were my own.

FEES and SERVICE AREA:

My service area is generally in the Mission Viejo/RSM/Laguna Niguel/Ladera Ranch/Portola Hills/Laguna Woods/Laguna Niguel/San Juan Capistrano vicinity of Southern Orange County, California. I am available for petsitting outside those areas, but there is a $50 surcharge.

Daily/Overnight fees are determined on a case-by-case basis. Factors include what kind of pets and how many, age, behaviors, and medical issues. Fees typically start at $50 per day/overnight for cats, $60 for dogs.

“Meet-and-Greet” appointments are a prerequisite for reserving any blocks of time. References are available on request.

A 50% deposit is required from first-time clients to reserve time more than a week in advance.
